My Mechanic’s Pile of Tires and a Fun Photo Booth
My Mechanic’s Pile of Tires and a Fun Photo Booth

Your Fun Party needs a Fun Photo Booth

My mechanic is great. He's a good guy, fair and would never up-sell or offer a service you don't need. Just an honest good guy trying to make an honest living but he's got a Big Pile of Tires.

He's busy and sometimes his lot is over filled with cars. Sometimes it takes 20 minutes to tetris a car in and out... that's a lot of wasted time and money. He had a lot of junk and more specifically tires all over the place. I offered to take the junk & tires away and although he was skeptical... He realized that it was a problem. Most of the tires were garbage or abandoned. The metal was rusting away. He didn't have the time to do it. Just 2 hours later he had 3 new parking spots and more importantly he has essentially a whole new lane where cars could pull in an out easily. Hours & hours saved.

He was even thinking and hoping that he could use a tire here and there on a customer but more went on the pile than got off.

pile of tires that wasted money & space

The local junk yard paid good $$$ for the scrap metal and took the tires for free.

Now... there is no real way to measure how much money he saved or made here but it's pretty obvious. My mechanic didn't have the time to do it. He didn't even realize it was a problem.

Unintended consequences included... His lot looked much better, more organized and he told me there was less smell and much fewer mosquitoes. It was a win win win on all sides.

What do tires have to do with a Fun Party and a Photo Booth in Burlington?

Photo Booth couple

I was at a wedding in Burlington recently and it was fancy. Very very fancy. I have to say it was nice but it wasn't what I would call fun. It was beautiful. There was a flower arch. There were sparkle machines. There were flowers... there were a lot of flowers. It was a nice, beautiful fancy wedding that just wasn't fun.

There was decor every where. There was a giant Anagram of the Bride & Groom on the floor... which was basically a giant 1000 sq. foot sticker on the dance floor. Also, there were a lot of flowers. I mean... Lots and lots of flowers. Again... it was beautiful.

Dinner & Speeches took a long time to get through and they also had some "singers/dancers" acts that seemed to go on and on and on. Again very nice, very fancy, very nice... but people were bored.

I've seen it all in this business... some and most were actually in this wedding. Everything but a Fun Photo Booth. I'm not anti-flowers or anti-giant-monogram-of your-initials-on-the-floor but for a fraction of the price... You could have gotten a Fun Photo Booth and made this a Fun Party.

Fun Party needs Fun Photo Booth

There is no bigger bang for the buck than a Fun Photo Booth like the Photo Booth @ FunkyRobot.ca and not only is it fun. Your guests get to take home an Amazing memento and it's worth every penny.

It's so great for so many reasons...

  • Older people love them. Grandkids get to take fun photo booth photos with grand-parents.
  • Great for people who don't dance.
  • Great break for people that need to get away from the noise
  • Silly Photo to take home
  • Usually has married couple's name & date on it to remember.
  • Did I mention the fun props?

I've had the pleasure to do the Photo Booth in Burlington, Oakville, Hamilton, Mississauga since 2010. It's the single #1 thing (After Venue, Food & DJ) you should have. It's no longer an option and It's a fraction of the cost of something like Flowers or a floor wrap that no one... and I mean no one remembers. When was the last time you remembered the flowers at an event. Of course you need flowers but you don't have to spend 10-Grand on flowers either.

My name is Carlos and I've been in the Party & Event business for a long time. I've been a DJ since the 90s but started helping out my brother with weddings as early as 1986.  Vinyl & Cassettes were what we used back then and I've DJ'd just about every sort of Party since. The Photo Booth is awesome.
